Erin was born in Louisville, KY and moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1999 to attend Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD), graduating in 2003 with a BFA in Photography.

In October of 2012, she gave birth to her son, Joseph, at only 24 weeks gestation. Her 8- month long NICU journey and years of isolation due to Joseph’s very severe BPD and medical fragility inspired Erin to support and advocate for NICU families.

Kylie is mom to Parker. Parker is a twelve-year-old young man who was born at 23 weeks, 1lb 12oz and just 12 inches long. Immediately after birth, Parker was intubated with a 2.0 and airlifted to Children’s Mercy where he spent the first 5 ½ months of his life in the NICU. He failed multiple attempts at being extubated and received a tracheostomy in October of 2012. About six weeks later Parker was discharged home with a trach, ventilator, and other life sustaining pieces of medical equipment to survive.

Parker still suffers from BPD, obstructive sleep apnea and requires a CPAP for sleeping. Parker will forever have compromised lungs, but we don’t let that stop us from enjoying life to the fullest.
